Dweller is the New York festival celebrating Black talent in electronic music, founded in 2019 by Discwoman co-founder Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson and staged each Black History Month across Brooklyn and Queens clubs. Named for Drexciya's 'Deep Sea Dweller' and its Afrofuturist mythology, it pairs performances with talks and workshops, building a platform against an industry that has long erased techno's Black origins.
