Ty Sunderland's late-night party, launched in 2017 at the former China Chalet restaurant in the Financial District, a pop-inflected, performance-art-laced queer rave that became emblematic of pre-pandemic downtown nightlife and drew figures including Aquaria and Kim Petras. Its China Chalet home became, in Vice's framing, 'Manhattan's greatest queer nightlife utopia.' The flagship of a brand portfolio that also includes Love Prism, Gayflower, and Ty Tea.
