Performer, Trans punk pioneer (born Wayne Rogers, 1947); Stonewall riot veteran and Andy Warhol Factory alumna. Among the first acts Kristal advertised in the Village Voice when he opened CBGB; a Mercer Arts Center refugee whose gender-transgressive presence is an undertold part of the club's founding scene.
