Performer, Central creative figure in the Houston Street years; premiered Hu Die (1987), recorded Naked City live sessions (1989), and curated key programming. His association made the Knitting Factory the de facto home of the downtown scene.

DJ, Approached the Scotts post-opening to propose the New Music Festival; it expanded from one week to two months. Remained primary headliner and champion throughout; curated the final night April 13, 2007. Not a founder or owner.
